Lost but Not Forgotten is dedicated to all the military personnel who gave their lives in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations around the world.​

As a member of the 3rd Infantry Division Band, I was a part of OIF 3 in Baghdad in 2005. I witnessed firsthand some of the horrors of war, and personally knew some of its victims. I also had the solemn honor of being able to perform for a number of units who had experienced their own tragedies.

I am especially reminded of my fallen brothers and sisters each Memorial Day, when the nation pays tribute to all the men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the name of preserving freedom. I only hope that this piece of music can help to celebrate their memories, and ensure they continue to live on within us forever.
